eLearning & Digital Content
Course content, SCORM modules, interactive learning materials, and app strings translated for global platforms.
About this service
eLearning translation presents a specific set of challenges that general content translation does not. Course content must read clearly at the appropriate level for learners who are not specialist readers. Interactive elements must be translated with awareness of how they function - quiz questions need to be grammatically unambiguous, drag-and-drop labels need to fit their target areas, and scenario text needs to flow naturally at the pace of an interactive scenario.
We work in all major eLearning authoring formats: Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, Lectora, and custom HTML5 formats. We can work from exported strings in XLIFF or CSV format, from editable source files, or directly within your authoring environment if access is provided. All UI elements, labels, button text, and navigation strings are translated alongside the course content.
Beyond course translation, we also work on LMS platform localisation, mobile learning application content, assessment and evaluation instruments, and learning management system interface strings. For digital products with ongoing content updates, we maintain a product-specific terminology database that keeps all platform text consistent across updates.
Cultural adaptation is particularly important in eLearning. Scenarios and examples that work well for an Italian audience may not read naturally for a German or Dutch learner. We flag and adapt any cultural references that would not transfer cleanly rather than translating them literally.
